Precision grinding for gears and metal components
We provide industrial grinding for gears and metal components of many types. Using precision grinders with diamond wheels, we bring CNC-machined parts to tight, repeatable tolerances and high-grade surface finishes. With 30+ years in CNC grinding, we deliver top precision standards across batches.
This service supports sectors such as automotive (crank/shaft elements, bearings, gears), hydraulics, hardware and precision engineering. Grinding is performed by specialist partners and only on parts manufactured in our workshop, so you get a unified, end-to-end quality flow.
CNC grinding with diamond wheels
Diamond-wheel grinding yields very smooth surfaces and exact dimensions to improve running behaviour, reduce friction and extend part life under mechanical stress.
Typical operations include OD (external) grinding, ID (internal) grinding, centreless grinding and surface grinding, all managed with stable cycle times and documented results.
Diamond tooling enables efficient work on hardened steels, achieving mirror-like finishes and micrometric tolerances. We couple this with advanced metrology and rigorous controls to adapt recipes to different materials and complex geometries.
Benefits of the grinding process: precision and control
Every programme starts from a deep review of your requirements—geometry, required tolerances and base material—to select the most suitable grinding method and sequence.
We use diamond wheels and next-gen abrasives to obtain perfect surfaces on high-hardness materials (e.g., hardened steels and special alloys). CNC machines ensure repeatability, uniform finishes and tolerances in the micron range.
Each phase is monitored with digital sensors and measuring systems checking critical parameters such as roughness (Ra), flatness and concentricity. This closed-loop control prevents defects, minimises scrap and guarantees full compliance with your drawing.
